Clinical Significance
(Time-resolved Fluorescence lmmunochromatographic Assay)
T3 reflects the level of bound T3 (accounting for 99.7% of TT3) in the serum. Sensitive to hyperthyroidism.
Normal range: Refer to each laboratory value, the normal level decreases with age Increased: hyperthyroidism,
various thyroiditis, and serum TBG increase.
reduction: primary or secondary hypothyroidism, serum TBG reduction, inhibition of T 4 to T3 factors (low T3 syndrome).
